MKA International, Inc. (MKA® ) Construction Cost Estimating and Engineering services consist of over 100 experienced Cost Estimators whose backgrounds encompass the spectrum of the construction industry. Each of our offices have Cost Estimators on staff. We utilize a proprietary estimating system developed to meet our Clients’ needs as well as the capability of providing estimates in other commercial packaged estimating systems when specified. We have a strong reputation and a long history of providing Construction Cost Analysis and Estimating services to Owners, Contractors, Developers, Designers, Insurance Companies and Law Firms.
Our Estimating Team includes both degreed and experienced Construction Cost Estimators and Cost Engineers, who have decades of experience in bidding, negotiating and managing construction projects. Our professional team includes senior staff, certified by internationally recognized quantity surveying institutions or similar organizations. Many of our staff are Certified Professional Estimators (CPE) by the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) with some also being individually licensed General Contractors. MKA is a licensed General Contractor in California, Florida, and Nevada.
We have an average of over 30 years of experience in new construction estimating, renovation estimating and complex damage repair estimating. Clients worldwide have engaged MKA’s Estimators to develop cost analyses and take-offs for every category of construction (residential and commercial low- and high-rise, manufacturing, processing, oil and gas, agriculture, infrastructure, airports, marine facilities, theme parks and sports facilities to name a few).
Our Estimators have prepared scopes and detailed labor, material, and equipment estimates for thousands of structures both Domestically and Internationally. We have prepared complex cost evaluations for Property Loss/Builder’s Risk matters as well as on Construction Defect and Subrogation assignments. Additionally, we expertly perform comprehensive document reviews, cost comparisons, analyses and formulation of recommendations in a complex legal matter. Many of our Senior Estimators have testified both as Percipient and Expert Witnesses.
